Black Cherry trouble

So why can I not get a Black cherry with the 6 speed manual tranny. Neither the Southeast distributor or the goldcoast distributor in texas can get me one. Whats up with that?

Wow Nullifier you are a gadgeteer for sure!

I put mine on the center console. I was going to cut down into the console and flush mount it in leiu of the front cupholder on the MT console, which would look professional. It is exactly the same width as the console and would really be a clean install. THere is plenty of room under the console

But I just ended up taping it down to the console with strong mounting tape on the back. It hasnt come loose. I like it at the angle so it faces the driver. It affords excellent human factors to the buttons, I can do complicated button sequences from memory without looking at the unit. It is close to the driver and affords a highly intuitive user interface.

I really love this unit... what has been your experience?

Gps????

Re: Black Cherry trouble

I'm really happy with mine. The detail is really good. I do find that sometimes the map is not acurate with road placement etc but no big deal.

I guess your right on the "gadget" thing but I only do functional mods. I'm not really a "bling mod type of guy. My taco has the following mods. LCE header stainless high flow cat and stainless magnaflow cat back i did my self. Snorkel, Marlin Clutch, 255/ maxxis bighorn tires, 2 arb lockers, 4.88 gears, battery isolator, Dual optimas, 2nd blue sea fuse block, viair compressor and tank, 6 hella lights, thule xporter rack, Yakima mega warrior basket, dual volt meter guage, 1000w inverter, K&N filter,9000# winch sliders custom front and rear bumpers I made myself, custom skids. Hummingbird Depth finder for water crossings, beard suspension seats, hand throttle, cobra 75 cb, Diamond plate tool box and an OME suspension.

I have a cab clip from an extra cab that I'm I'm getting ready to install on my reg cab in April. I need more interior room for the long expeditions to Baja and such. I plan on selling the factory bed and fabricating an aluminum flat bed with fold down/ removable sides once the x cab swap is done.

Here is a pick of my taco temprarily stopped in a wash on the beach in the Altar Desert, Mx Once I slapped it in 4 low I crawled right out.

THis is the truck that got my toyota 4wd interest and now I want an fj for a dialy that in a few years will take over the roll of expedition rig. I plan on getting a CAMPA All Terrain Trailer and Disaster Reconnaissance System Camping Trailers trailer soon afer I get my Fj Cruiser. THe trips I take in my FJ will be the more Mild type expeditions and weekend excursions. The taco is for the rough stuff right now. I plan to rig my FJ just like my taco since it has proven to be an excellent set up for the type of wheeling I do.

Man now there is 2! I wonder why I'm being told by dealers they can't get them.
