First Post!

Hello all,

Joe here........ Getting ready to pull the trigger on a FJ. Titanium, Conv PKG, Upgrade 2, Hitch, side curtain. Have an Eclipse AVN6600 that I will install in place of the stock stereo.

What % off MSRP did you get? Any must have options that I should look at? Can you guys comment on running boards?

Joe

Re: First Post!

Welcome Joe. It might just be the most passionate auto purchase you have ever made.

I paid MSRP because I bought mine right when they showed up on the lots.

If you are going off road at all, skip the running boards and buy some after market rock rails.

Check out the equipment in my sig and I got $3,000 off true MSRP. It came out to be about $700-$800 over invoice which is a good deal because I sol cars for 6.5 yrs back in the day! Also I bought mine in Aug. '06.

Nice sound, I have Focal K2P and a Foacl 3 way set up with Audison electronics that I am going to sell. Great stuff, but I can't go through the mod process again, just too much time and hassle. Also have an Audiocontrol DQXS.......

Re: First Post!

Welcome aboard. Dont bother with the running boards get some good rock rails that stick out some from the body. They can be used as steps and do great at deterring door dings as well as errant rocks and trees.

Joe, they are good, that what I have on now. But I have a pair of Trail-Gear sliders waiting to be painted in my garage now, I want that extra little bit of safety on the sides.
