Newbie from MA

My girlfriend just bought a FJ yesterday. Planning on taking delivery next Monday (as soon as insurance company coughs up checque for totalled RAV4). She saw something on this forum about making the light in the outside mirrors an additional directional. Any idea if this counts as tampering with the vehicle so as to void the warranty?

Re: Newbie from MA

It probably depends on the dealer. It's sort of an unnecessary mod.

Welcome. If you happen to see Ted Kennedy, run him over with the FJ and let us know how the FJ handled driving through sh!t. LOL

Don't know about that. No justification for the stop. If this did happen it sounds like an old cop busting balls.

As for it going off road- We'll see. She liked the idea when I mentioned taking it camping.

As for me driving it. If she doesn't she won't be allowed to take the harley out!

Re: Newbie from MA

that stop was when the vehicle was new and no one knew what it was. By now, as you know, the FJ is on every corner in Boston. I'm sure that sort of thing won't happen anymore...
