Hi there,

The name's Juan Carlos but everyone calls me JC. Im happy to find such an active FJ forum. Within the next few months I will be purchasing an FJ Cruiser and setting it up for overland travel. I currently own a 96' Land Rover Discovery which is getting the same treatment. Besides getting the truck for business purposes, I'm in need of something a little more reliable on the road...ironically my Disco is more reliable off-road than it is on it! Go figure! Hope to meet up with some of you in the near future as I've just moved up from Miami and either hit the local trails or get some long trips set up!

Haha...I'm currently a member of 14 forum (15 now) and a moderator for two of them...I'm sick, I know...the correct thing to say would be "plan on lots MORE hours infront of the comp"...lol

Son of a gun! The lake's way close! Maybe a 20 minute drive with light traffic. I've seen two heavily modified FJs in the area already..a black one and a Silver one.
