Just call me Peppy Le Bleu

Just writing to introduce myself, I'm the proud new owner of an FJ Cruiser...in you guessed it...Voo Doo Blue. I'm a 41 year old female, and this is actually my first "spanking new" car/truck and I am totally in love. My last car/truck was a Lincoln Navigator and before that, I drove a conversion van, so driving the FJ is like driving a little sports car, its just so damn peppy! I love it! The thing I don't understand, is why I don't see that many of them around. The dealer said they've sold 50 of them but I know of just one other person who has one. I work in a hospital with thousands of employees and patients, and mine is the only one in the whole lot. Also, we drove down to Jersey last weekend and saw only one the entire 200 miles. Oh well, they don't know what they're missing! Sounds like you guys are having alot of fun with your trucks...I'm not into off road driving (yet) I just want to get home from work, in the middle of a snow storm, late at night, 25 miles, uphill, on a country road. It was either get a new job or get a new FJ cruiser. Yea! I got a new Cruiser!

Re: Just call me Peppy Le Bleu

Welcome aboard. You picked the right color, but I am a little biased. Before long you will want to get your fj off road just to see what it will do. Enjoy.

Re: Just call me Peppy Le Bleu

Welcome and enjoy. Peppy I've also wondered the same thing, I don't see all that many around my area either. Which is a good thing. But being that it is such an awsome looking and fun to drive truck that you would think there would be more around in the north east.
