Gettin FJiggy with it

What's up FJers! Just got my new FJ (Titanium, it's the fastest one) yesterday. I'm definilty stoked. Got the Upgrade #1, convenience package, roof rack towing package, etc..

Man the thing drives great! I've loved em from the time they came out, certainly a great looking ride, awesome off road engineering and the old fj's are just o-sooo cool. I had a Nissan Titan that i just traded in. Great truck but being in the DC area the 3 point turns to park in tight parking lights and gas prices going through the roof I finally had the justification to stop drooling over other peoples FJ's and get my own.

From my screen name, you can see I love the Virginia Tech Hokies, can't wait for football season, those of you in Louisiana, I'm looking forward to coming down for the LSU - Hokies game (I lived in Slidell for a while so I have some buddies down there to goto the game with) should be a great time.

Anyways, been lurinkg on here the last week or two while I was shopping and you all definitly seem like a cool group with a passion for the FJ like myself!!

You are certainly welcome to the forum. More so because you realize that the Titanium FJ is the fastest and that the coolest people drive Titanium FJ's.

--That's not to put down the Black Cherry crowd because they're almost as cool. The Sun Fusion group seem to be somewhat snobbish, reveling in their Apollo/SunGod delusion but when their FJ's get dirty, they're mud brown just like a dirty Titanium FJ. The VooDoo Blue people just THINK they're as cool as the Titanium FJ people (and let's let them think that if they need to). The Black Diamond (almost a TRD SE) and TRD Black folks seem superior because their rigs look dirtier then ours (being black). Part of me has to agree because they seem to be dirt magnets and ours always look too clean.

At some sort of "spiritual" level, I think the FJ picks the person, not the other way around. So your Titanium FJ picked you because you belonged behind the wheel of the coolest possible FJ. --now get out there and mod the heck out of it!

Cool, thanks guys, I agree, I think the FJ picked me...not too sure about those voodoo blue peeps...hahaha I was close to choosing that one

looking forward to getting some mods, it's great to have all of the opions and experience of those on here to say that is awesome, or watch out that sucks..

Going camping for memorial weekend, (this afternoon) and the FJ is gettin off road (I do have about 30 miles on it now since I drove last night and to get coffee this morning) I'll post some pics when I get back
