Re: should i buy FJ

It's a good 'poser' rig, also. If you consider being a 'poser' having to get
where you're going in the Northeast no matter what, driving around in
pastures, and so forth. The 'U' in SUV. But it's a damned nice daily driver,
better than most SUV's I've ever driven. Feels good. Comfy seats. Not
heated. Don't need to be. Cloth that feels warm all the time in winter and
cool all the time in summer.

Simple as dirt. No 'systems' to act up two years and 10,000 miles out of
warranty.

Damned pleasant drive. Well, just nothing to do on the highway.

Ride gets a bit choppy if the road is really choppy, but it's the fault of
the road, not the FJ.

Short, fat, and wide. Not so much as a Hummer I, but really tracks
around a corner.

I have an AUDI S4 Avant (still) and am as attached to the FJ after nearly
a year as I ever was to the AUDI. That says a lot.

Just a good, all-around, vehicle which will go anywhere, glide over potholes
and keep you comfortable all the time.

And, when it gets really cruddy, you take out the all-weather mats, and
hit them with the nozzle, wipe down the inside, seats and all, with a wet
towel, and it's like new again.

Visibility takes some getting used to--- get the multivex mirrors, and learn
to look, REALLY look. The other side of that is that with little glass area, it
stays cool in the parking lot.

Buy it.

Re: should i buy FJ

Don,
I live in Tally too...and in the last three months have purchased two FJ's, one at Legacy and the other in Melbourne. I didn't go to Thomasville but would have done that next to comparison shop if Legacy hadn't been able to deal. It would be interesting to see what the best you could do on a new rig vs. the one with 17K. Good Luck, whatever you decide...and if you get one...I'm sure you'll love it....Go Noles!
