Black Cherry FJ is Frisco, Texas

Just recently found this forum. Purchased my Black Cherry FJ just over a week ago. It has the convenience package and a roof rack - that's about the only extras I have on it. My wife and I love it. We have only one concern - and it's a biggie - gas milage! I was a bit timid on the 19-22 mpg on the sticker, but we decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway. Well, after 2 full tanks of gas, we are only averaging 13.5 mpg - and most of those are highway miles. Do we have a lemon or are others having the same problem? Other than this, we do love it!

We live in Forney Texas and just blew by 6k miles after a round trip to Wichita KS yesterday. We consistently get around 19 mpg. Ours is 4wd AT.

Re: Black Cherry FJ is Frisco, Texas

Welcome from a BC owner in CT!!
I've been getting 18-19 MPG on the highway. I use premium fuel, have an AT, and put on Bridgestone Dueler revo's, which might actually hurt my mileage. I run them at about 34 psi.
