Newbie to the Forum

Hello to all. Today I finally got the time to go an test out my FJ, in the Mountains. I found a couple of trails that I wanted to run first and ended up running into another FJ Forum Member, Mountain Man. My FJ tackled Loch Lamond trial (C5) with no issues at all, so I decided to head up to Bill Moore Trail (C7). Again absolutely no issues at all, infact we got lost for a bit and ended up in a few rough spots that I was not sure my FJ would do Okay in, but as usual my FJ performed as expected. The roads were soaked due to the constant rain at 10k elevation up to 11.5k. I could not be more pleased with this vehicle. I have yet to do any modifications to my FJ and can't wait to test it out after the lift, and better tires. I actually ended up on a part of the trail I would not have normally tried with the stock suspension and 32 inch tires, but to my surprise, my FJ pulled through with not a single hick up and really impressed the heck out of me. Oh by the way, I am newbie to the forum, I am a copper, but play harder than I work, and I work pretty dang hard. I live in Colorado, and although I am new to the FJ cruiser, I am not new to Offroading at all. One of my first jobs as a young adult was building jeep trails for the BLM in Northwest Colorado, which once I get my FJ upgraded to where I want it, I will be testing it out on one of the trails I helped build in 92. Hit me up if your local in Colorado and need a trail partner. I plan on spending the next couple of months hitting the trails pretty hard to find out which ones I like the best and to see the rest of Colorado. Take Care.
