First Foreign Vehicle

That's right, this rock ribbed all American has finally given in and gone the Japan way. I've got 4,200 on the titanium, automatic, loaded FJ machine. I was always a big fan the FJ40 growing up. I'm more a member of the "stock jocks" rather than the "mod squad". I had a nice out of the box transmission leak which took a week to fix while I drove a 4-cyl Camry loaner. I run 37 lbs. in the Dunlops and am getting 22+ miles per gallon. That's right, it's called hyper-miler. Try not to exceed 2,000 rpm at take-off and limit the brakes and you'd be surprised at the miles you can squeeze out. I don't even think about getting gas until I hit 350 on the trip. I know it sounds real boring but you get used to it. I run my obligatory "gentle" 10 miles off-road per month. I'd like to thank all you dedicated posters. I have learned so much from all of you and some funny stuff too. I have been checking in every day for months and figured it only fair to thank you all. So thank you!
