Greetings!

Hey all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. A couple of months ago I ordered a 2007 Tundra CrewMax at the local dealer and my wife started looking at FJs after I mentioned how I'd thought they were really cool. I'd been following them since the first car show prototypes were released...well, a couple of test drives later and we traded in her quasi-SUV (Lexus RX330) for a new FJ, Black Cherry Pearl, fully loaded 6MT and we're both really enjoying it. We spend a fair amount of time going to pretty remote places to hike, run, mountain bike, exercise the dogs etc and the FJ is totally in it's element out here.

A couple of days after we picked it up we headed out to the BLM land near our house and all I can say is that it's got more capability than I have nerve at this point...gotta love it! R,

Bart

Welcome
Yeah, things just sorta fell into place! Picked up the CrewMax on Friday....very sweet. She'd been telling me I needed a new truck for a year and I finally listened....and she's thrilled with the FJ. A happy wife is a happy life

Nice man, lets get some pics of both together when you have time, and when you reach 5 posts.

Ha ha ha! She's the smartest woman in the world!
Over coffee one sunny Santa Fe morning....
"Oh, dear? I think you need a new truck."

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...
(see thought bubble over her head) "Those new FJ's are so cool. But there's only one way I can guarantee I'LL get mine...."

Mmmmmuuuuuaaaahaaaahaaaaahaaaa......
