IDo I have to worry about the stock axles if I get 35in tires? Or should I just get a 3in lift with 33's? Any suggestions welcomed.
Congrats and enjoy your new ride.

To give one opinion on your question. 35's may cause your CV's in the front to fail sooner since the wheel is a much larger lever and will have better leverage to break the CV. It's just a matter of physics.

33's shouldn't cause you problems a lot of us run them, but anytime you change the stock geometry then you can run into issues.

I'm very happy with my 3" lift and my 33's

One other thing to note would be the additional weight of the larger tires, and more importantly the increased rotational mass of said tire. Tire in the air spinning or bouncing (lay off throttle) then coming down on the surface those CV's and axles will bear the additional torsional pressures. Long story short, you run a higher risk of breakage with the heavier tire.

Not sure if you care about gas mileage or not, but that would be another concern if you were worried about it.
