Hey, really cool pics, thanks for sharing. I've got a question...what the heck kind of camera setup is that? Looks impressive with all the gadgets and wires everywhere. Plus, you know the camera setup is impressive when it needs...a power bar.

Really stunning photos. Thank you so much for sharing. I wish I had your eye behind the shutter - real art!

On the other topic, I'll quote Butch Han****, "Life in Lubbock, Texas, taught me two things: One is that God loves you and you're going to burn in hell. The other is that sex is the most awful, filthy thing on earth and you should save it for someone you love."

Or Gen. Phil Sheridan, "If I owned Hell and Texas I would rent out Texas and live in Hell."

I'm not throwing rocks at Texas because I live in Southern California (land of fruits and nuts) and therefore do not reside in a GLASS HOUSE --- so Texans can flame my homeland all they want.

Re: Just thought I'd share some pics of where my FJ has been

The camera set-up is a Canon XL2, mounted with a EF adapter to use Canon's still lens. It allows me to shot video A LOT closer than with the default lens of 20X. I have some footage of wolves that I shot from almost 2 miles away. The deal mounted to the rear of the camera is a 40GB hard drive some I don't have to "capture" the video when I get home, it records straight to the drive as Quicktime files.... (You think MOD'ing your FJ is expensive, when I go shot video, I have 12K of camera equipment in the back of a 30K truck). I was just shooting wildlife in the Park for a hobbie, but I am gonna try and start going to the off-road parks here in TX and try to shot video of other people climbing and muddin.

Anyone in TX reading this, I'm in the Houston area. My boss and I are both into off-roading, he just bought a new "decked out" Rubicon, so we will be playing as soon as I get some "minor" protection for my FJ, but I would love to film and take pics of other people playing as well.

I have a complete editing package at home, (I'm a total Mac geek), so contact me and we'll post some off roading "fun" videos!!!

The name says it all ADVENTURE FILMS

BEWARE - That's what I said and look where it's taken me. http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...tml#post526280

Mods are a disease.

But a fun one.

Re: Just thought I'd share some pics of where my FJ has been

it's just 3 of 1.5" aluminum bar U-bolted on with small rubber strips between the U-bolts and the factory rack, (to avoid sratching), and the basket is just an old cheap basket
