Hello!

I am thinking about getting an FJ, so I thought I'd hang out here for a bit and see what I can learn from all you seasoned professionals before I make the leap.

I'm driving a 97 SVT Cobra right now(see sig). Brought her out from California, but she doesnt like the snow here in New york, traction issues! And I'm thinking about adopting a couple of dogs so a bigger vehicle would be nice. I almost bought the new Jeep Wrangler, but it just seemed like too much money for too little vehicle. I've always liked the FJ's styling so hopefully I can do a test drive soon and get a better feel for them.

Sounds like you all are very happy FJ owners so far. looking forward to hanging out here.

Jeff

Re: Hello!

Greetings & Welcome!!!

Yes...I would highly recommend going for a test drive, but make sure to have someone drop you off, so you can easily drive the FJ home when you're done with the test drive... =)

Now go sand the floor, then paint the fence(uppp/down), and don't forget wax-on...wax-off... =)

Re: Hello!

Welcome to the board. Trust me you will love the FJ and specailly after test driving it. I test drove the wrangler and the fj. Fj had no comparission with the wrangler. The fj much more torque and power. You will figure it out when you test drive it.

Re: Hello!

Our dobies love riding in the FJ. We have a pet barrier that we install on longer rides. Also recommend a second cargo mat for the back of the rear seats. If not the dogs tend to slide around. They only wish the rear windows opened. Welcome

Re: Hello!

NY dealers are offering reduced financing (not available here in CA, yet). Go test drive one, I bet you'll be driving it home the same day.
