My BMW has the remote on the key. To have 2 different things seems a bit cumbersome to me.

Thanks in advacne for any help.
Um, so how tight are the jeans you're wearing? Nevermind, I don't want to know...

On a more serious note, welcome to the FJ madness. Also, if you're not sure about changing oil, I would either have someone else do it, have a friend that knows what they are doing go over it with you, after you do it twice, you will wonder why you ever paid anyone to do it. (Plus you know it was done right...)

Smile Re: M3 to FJ

Did some research on the key question a while back and it seemed that an '06 or newer Rav4 key fob would work. The keys are the same and the dealer could program it for you. I had a Rav4 at the time ('06) but that was the only way to buy a key. You have to provide your registration as proof of ownership. The key is also extremely expensive. My dealer quoted me over 200.00. Not worth it to me. Maybe in the future a newer model FJ will come with such a key. Good Luck.

Re: M3 to FJ

Wow,
Thanks for all the replies. I will look into the RAV 4 key situation.
AS for the oil change. I used to change the oil all the time on an old Isuzu I had, and it was pretty simple. From these descriptions this sounds just as easy.
As for the tight jeans, they are not too tight. I just do not like a lot of stuff on my key ring. Currently I only have 3 keys on it, car, work and home.
