Sandstorm or Brick?

Hi, I'm Joe and I have a dilemma. Should I get the Sandstorm or Brick?

Just waiting for my local dealers to get in some of the new colors before I make up my mind.

Planning on getting a pretty stock FJ then doing the mods myself.

Joe

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

The sandstorm looks great IMO! The best way to find out would be to see it in person yourself. I'm new here to so welcome!

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

Haven't seen the brick in person, but just saw the sandstone last night, my heart skipped a beat! I would like to see it with a roof rack on it, and modded, I know it would be sweet!

I'd wait until you can see both in person!

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

I've thought about it at length, and think you should get the color you like best.

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

I have seen both the sandstorm and brick in person. Sandstorm is better IMO. I actually like the now discontinued Black Cherry much better than brick...and I didn't like Black Cherry at all to start with. The brick is just plain...reddish/brown...yuck. I'm sure it'll look good with all the mods that people will do, but that's what I thought.

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

I'm thinking the same thing, waiting to see both in person before I decide. If neither gets me all worked up then there's always white (Iceberg?) when the SE comes out.

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

If you're a city dweller, either will do.

For off-road, Sandstorm is best as the lighter color won't show dust/dirt as much and the light non-metallic color won't show scratches as much either.

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

I would go with the brick, only because it is closest to the dearly departed Black Cherry Pearl , which we all know is definitely the best color, even though some of us are ashamed to admit it!

Re: Sandstorm or Brick?

I think if you want the brick you should just save some bucks and buy an '07. The lots around here are loaded with '07 Black Cherrys.
