Hi y'all! My name is Bill. This is my first post and I want to say hello to everybody.
I bought my MT black FJ a little over a year ago. My wife also has an FJ; it's blue with AT. We bought both trucks the same day and absolutely love them!
The wife's rig is sorta the family grocery getter and her daily driver. Mine is more of a toy. My daily driver is an Echo. I know, no respect. Don't worry, I'm used to that after 4 years and close to 100,000 miles of no respect. Believe when I tell you, nobody, I mean nobody, likes getting passed by a Toyota Echo, but, that's another subject.
I have had a lot of fun driving my truck since I bought it. It's been in the Ocala National Forest, Appilachicola National Forest, to Tellico a couple of times and all around Mt. Pisgah to name a few places.
I've had a lot of fun modding my rig too. It's lifted, UCA'ed, bumpered, diff breathered, 33" BFG MT'ed, winched, bulged and ripped. Which brings me to my little confession. I've been lurking here for a while. Well, for a long time. I apologize for my nefariousness, but, the good news is I have learned to use and made extensive use of the search feature and I have learned a lot here. And, I have read the entire body rips thread...WHEW!
I want to complement the folks here and say thank you. The information I have picked up has truely enhanced my enjoyment and knowledge of my FJ! This site is great! Not only do I enjoy and benefit from the wealth of information archived here, I appreciate the overall tone and demeanor of the folks who have made it all happen, the creators, the moderators, the members, everybody. I have found the folks here to be friendly and very willing to offer help and advice. It's refreshing! Again, I thank you and I hope somehow to contribute in some small way here.
Welcome to the forum, and as you know it can be a great place.
