Greetings from the West Coast! Happy to find this forum. So many great threads I've already enjoyed, and have found very helpful. Wow! Lots of proud FJ owners! I've finally bought my FJ cruiser…. I came across one that I couldn't ignore, so I traded in my subaru, and drove away in a 2008 Black Diamond (all black on black, no white or silver), 6 Speed manual with convenience package in excellent condition, low miles, with rack, brush guard/fog lights, and an eager soul for the mountains/trails. Bought a 3 year warranty to go along with it for protection (hopefully won't need it). I plan on having this beast for a while… lifetime.
I look forward to connecting with more of you FJ enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers.
No major mechanical Mods yet. Just enjoying each time I drive this thing. Never looked forward to getting into a vehicle more than now…
When I'm not at the office or running my business, I spend a lot of time surfing, MTN biking, flyfishing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, etc. I've already enjoyed the rubberized floor mats, the handy hooks in the back I've rigged up with a strap to hang gear for easy drying. This thing totally rips… and so much fun to drive. Looking forward to the journey with all of you. Have fun out there! See you on the road or in the trails!
(will post pics soon). :laugh
Cheers~
