Hi from Colorado

Hi all,

I'm new to this site and have had my 'baby' since 4/07. I've done some aftermarket 'things' to it as well as in the process of doing more aftermarket stuff.

Re: Hi from Colorado

Well...being that I'm estrogen, I don't get off w/ exhaust stuff or lift kits or stuff like that.

Aftermarket what I did was have all seats removed and black leather placed; driver and passenger seats are heated leather seats w/ lumbar support/control.

Side rails (the thing you step on to get into the FJ) are aftermarket black and polished silver - girl thing that makes it cute since I have the Titanium Metallic.

I originally bought the tire cover from the dealership (waste of $165) as I bought a matching tire cover from Boomerang that is Titanium Metallic. I broke down and got the Boomerang after waiting 4 months w/ Aries only to find out they were having 'quality control issues' and impatience won out and I went for the Boomerang cover. I think it looks great and it was only like $60

I have full tint because I like to have driver and passenger match the rest of the windows - so far, haven't been pulled over!

Tuesday I'm taking 'her' in for an electric sunroof w/ tilt. While they're doing that, I have them remove the silver (gray) cloth lining on the roof and replace w/ black leather.

After that's done, I'm going aftermarket for a Bluetooth, MP3, Sirius, CD/radio. I had 'almost' every option I wanted when I ordered my FJ but at the time I chose not to have satellite radio. Well, my husband just got his new toy (08 Dodge Charger) and I fell in love w/ satellite radio! Toyota dealership recommended I go to a stereo place and really have it choice in regards to stereo options and sound.

Re: Hi from Colorado

Highlands Ranch? You do know that that's not really part of Colorado, don't you? It's where all the Californians live before they get promoted to middle management jobs in Chicago and Atlanta...

HEY, HEY... Stop throwing things guys.... I was just kidding... Ouch, crud, ouch.... okay, okay!!!

Who's doing the sunroof? Post some picts when it's done, I'm sure we'd all like to see it. Welcome to the forum!!
