You need to check out the Rough Country 3" lift. That's what we had before we got their 6". And several people here on the forum have their 3" lift on their FJ's. Check them out under the vendor section of the forum.

Best lifts for the money- TOYTEC! Anything from spacer only, to adjustable coilovers. And, they're having group buy pricing through the end of Oct. Get 'em while they're hot!!

Check the Toytec section for the group buy.

Re: new fj and looking for a cheap lift

I have a Revtek spacer system and have had no problems at all. I think the cost was around 495.00 delivered. You can do the install yourself if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. Great product for the money. Hope this helps.

Re: new fj and looking for a cheap lift

I always thought RevTek was WAY overpriced for a purely spacer lift. For the same amount, you can do a combination of front spacer with a rear coil and shock replacement, very similar to Rough Country's.

I bought my OME/ToyTec hybrid kit from ToyTec and couldn't be happier. As far as lifting on a budget goes, I say stick with them.

Not to mention the group buy! There are some killer deals going on there.

Re: new fj and looking for a cheap lift

I have the RC 3" lift and thinks it's great. Been wheeling a couple of times with it with no problems. I love the new stance. Oh, and you can't beat the price. The Rough Country guys are great. Here's a Pic of mine. Just click on the link below the pic and it will take you to the 3" lift page of the RC site.

Re: new fj and looking for a cheap lift

I have a 3" RC lift and love it. Spacers up front new springs and shocks for rear. Can be easily put on in your driveway wih a decent set of tools. Great customer service. All that for 350.00.
