New to the FJC World

Hello, I just got the keys to my Voodoo Blue FJC last Friday. I heard about this site and finally got a chance to check it out and holy crap there is alot of threads and information on here. I look forward to tapping into all of your experience so my wife and I can enjoy our Cruiser as much as possible!

If anyone can give me a few pointers on how to navigate the wealth of information here it would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for a group or club in the Northern Michigan area and can't seem to find anything yet. Does anyone know anything about something in my area? Thanks so much!

Welcome man. You are going to get addicted to all the cool info here. Check out the thread on how to change your text on your FJammer. You can have it read anything you want. Really cool. Also check out the Scuba Driver mod. Easy, cheap and very much worth it.

Re: New to the FJC World

Welcome! Check out the different sections, say wheels/tires and look at the stickies at the top. This is a good way to start and find a lot of the main info on bumpers, wheels, and other mods. If you search you may have to reword stuff a couple of times but you can find stuff. Check the regional sections and you might find someone in your area. Also go to the vendors section and check out their sites. Have fun.

Re: New to the FJC World

Thanks for the tips, I am off and running. Running nearly blind and into everything, but at least the stuff I am running into is a fun read. Now I just need hours and hours to go through the rest of it to catch up with everyone else. There is a ton of good stuff on here. I think the scuba mod might just be my first...

Congrats, and welcome. Im sure you are already annoyed with the driver and passenger seat belt warning chime. Well here is a link that will tell you how to turn it off. Turn Off Seat Belt Chime

Enjoy

Re: New to the FJC World

Thanks for that link magnumpi, it worked like a charm. Now I just have to make sure that my wife actually puts her seatbelt on...
