Hi all! Just wanted to introduce us to you. My husband and I bought an FJ early Sept. We went to dinner and as I have a 2001 Camaro SS with racing package *never raced it unless you call beating out teens! LOL*. I planned on keeping it but now its hard on my back to get in and out.(9 back oper past 3 yrs). So we agreed to look at little wrangler red jeeps used and ended up at Toyota down the street with a 07" Voodoo! My husband had seen me researching them on internet. He fell in love with color, I had kinda liked yellow. But blue grew on me as I am not as young as I used to be and facing that bright yellow on radio in early mornings might be haz to my health! LoL! We got V6 with 5 A/T and PT 4x4. It had upgrade pack#1, running boards,and Conv package,mats already on it. Just came back from first trip out of town, some feeway, country highways(leaves were beautiful) and back and it and my back did well! My hubby was driving a little used Suz Grand Vitare and its perfect for me and my service dog I am training to just zip about, but when we both or all go the FJ gives us so much more room! I love the big simple controls and used my sirius radio and mp3 player. BTW we would love to see about coming to this thing in Colo in 08 but we don't see ourselves really changing truck alot. Do you know of simpler off roading without the huge boulders, rock rivers etc you see in your more experienced drivers? We would just like some dirt off road, we did some outwest years ago in his Bronco II. But def looking forward to winter this year in Ohio. Last year snow plowed our driveways in on our ct. and his little 4wd Suzuki barely made it over the iced three foot pile!
