FJ coming soon to a garage near me

Hello! I'm looking to get an FJ in the near future and have been trolling the forums here for more info. How is it to parallel park this sucker?

Cheers

Welcome Superbox!

It's not as boxy as you may think when it comes to parallel parking. The mirrors are your friend. I find it easier than my previous rides but it could just be me getting better at it!

Good luck!

Welcome aboard! It's a piece of cake to parallel park the FJ Cruiser.

Welcome, the back-up sensor really helps make parallel parking easier.

Yeah me too. I find it easier to drive over the other cars and park in front rather than trying to mess with turning and all that.

Re: FJ coming soon to a garage near me

The current family car is a Scion xB, so adding another box-like car is going to be fun. I've gotten a bit afraid of the real world safety of my car, which has no side airbags and a thin little tin strip where the door should be.

Another newbie question: how tall is the FJ with the stock roof rack? Thanks!
