Hello from VA!

Hey All -

New guy here who's been lurking for awhile. Thanks to these forums I have become rather fascinated with the FJ. I don't know much about 4x4s, offroading, and am only slowly gaining some minor mechanical abilities. I sure as hell want to learn now though!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to buy for another year. Uncle Sam is sending me away for awhile! However I wanted to try and get into the nuts and bolts of things while I am away. Reading material would help a great deal! I suppose I will make a more elaborate post in the newbie area . . .

Welcome to our humble abode. Try and keep in touch while Uncle Sam keeps ya busy. We'll all make sure there's an FJ waiting for you when you get back....

Be safe wherever they're sending you and thanks for serving our country. I'm in Northern VA and just got my FJ. Drop us a line when you get back, maybe we can have a VA/Mid Atlantic get together and meet some fellow owners.
