New guy here who's been lurking for awhile. Thanks to these forums I have become rather fascinated with the FJ. I don't know much about 4x4s, offroading, and am only slowly gaining some minor mechanical abilities. I sure as hell want to learn now though!
Unfortunately, I won't be able to buy for another year. Uncle Sam is sending me away for awhile! However I wanted to try and get into the nuts and bolts of things while I am away. Reading material would help a great deal! I suppose I will make a more elaborate post in the newbie area . . .
Welcome to our humble abode. Try and keep in touch while Uncle Sam keeps ya busy. We'll all make sure there's an FJ waiting for you when you get back....
