First off, Salam aleikum (hope I got that right). Second, I'm sure you're gonna have an awesome time mod'ing the truck - and it's a fun truck to mod. The only danger is getting too addicted. Third, I don't know what the terrain in Qatar is like (beyond the dunes you mentioned - which sounds much fun), but some photos that got posted here from Oman (yeah, I know it's like 350 miles from you
) still have me dreaming of real expedition trips...

It won't stay black for long in the desert, trust me on that one. It'll be a gray diamond rather than a black diamond pretty soon. That's good - it reflects more of the sun and keeps it cool!
