Smile Hello & Question about Keyless entry

I just bought an FJ, Voodoo Blue, and like the vehicle. It has a keyless entry but the back door will not lock or unlock with the keyless. Anyone had a similar problem and found a cure -- short of taking it to the dealer?
Thanks
Mike

Re: Hello & Question about Keyless entry

You have to hit the button twice to unlock all the doors..

Re: Hello & Question about Keyless entry

Congrats and Welcome aboard and yes, a double tap on the unlock button should work. If not I would take it to the dealer.

I used the 2tap and it will not unlock nor can I lock it with the keyless. As much as I hate to, I guess it's back to the dealer.
Thank you for the responses.

You should have received two remotes. Do either of them work?

You may have gotten the transmitters for the wrong vehicle (assuming you bought an 07). Mix-ups happen.

Yes, I received both remotes. They both work to lock & unlock the driver and passenger door, but not the rear door.
