Re: Hello from Puerto Rico!

Thanks Jet Cat. I called Triangle (where I bought my FJ) and they quoted me 450 for the hitch including install. What do you think? A Thule spare tire rack will set me back 120 plus shipping. Decisions...decisions...

do you have a boat or jetski or planning to buy one? If not, buy the spare tire rack. You can also check on ebay thats where I bought mine, very cheep too.

The FJ original tow hitch costs $252 + s&h and the installation is not that hard.

LIke I said before, if you dont have a boat, jetski or planning to buy one, go with the spare tire rack.

Re: Hello from Puerto Rico!

No boat on my plans...unfortunately. Thanks for the advice, I think I will get the Thule, but I read on the forum that it needs to be "tweaked" to fit the FJ spare.
