New to you.

Been a member for a while now and until now have just read and researched. Have had the FJ since august of last year and been loving it all the way. Little by little I am on my way to the FJ of my dreams. ... Just some pictures of me messing around on the weekend.

Re: New to you.

Well we can start from the beginning... Love at first sight. When I was at the stealership for a routine oil change for my Tacoma sr5 I got my first REAL look at the FJ. Something told me that night that I had to have it. At the time I thought I was so smart for getting a 2WD FJ... Save on the gas... Save on the insurance...

Well I can tell you one thing... If I knew then what I know now I would never have even considered a 2WD. sigh....

On the other hand this is my daily driver and it offers so much more then just a fun time off road. I love the look of it and I love driving it. With every mod .. as cheesy as it may sound I feel closer and closer to my vehicle.

Started with a 3" ome lift... Threw a set of air horns on there... Tinted the windows... sold the running boards through here... dumped the rubber mud flaps... installed a simple HID kit... 5 brand new 285/70/17 BFG MT's... and most recently I started to black out the silver plastic.

Everything I know about the FJ I have learned from this forum... what a great source of knowledge and experience.

EDIT: p.s. I LIKE the white letters out on the tires.
