There is one way to deceive your wife and hide your off-roading philandering: smudge some lipstick on your collar and spray some woman's perfume on your hair before you walk back into the house. Your wife will think you're cheating on her and not suspect a thing about off-roading. Whew, that was close!

This will be by far the most serious answer: you should not let grandma get in the FJ, unless she does yoga, or she can sit behind you, and you are 4 feet tall so you can have your seat all the way up to the steering wheel. Most grandmas I know will break a hip upon entering or existing the rear quarter of the FJ.

This car is the most fun you'll ever have. It's great off-road, and it is an excellent daily driver as well. If you plan on modding the suspension, make sure you solicit opinions on this forum, some suspensions out there take the civility out of the FJ in the name of "racing" skills. In reality, the stock FJ is an excellent off-roader and you can enjoy it without much modding.
