Just brought home a 2008 Sandstorm FJ
Just wanted to make it official... Last night I came home with a 2008 Sandstorm FJ...
I really appreciate the information gathered from this most excellent forum. Not only did it prepare me for the purchase with option choices but also feeling comfortable and knowledgeable about the entire vehicle.
As a past FJ40 owner, the sandstorm made my wife and I very nostalgic about getting the FJ...
I got an Auto 4x4 pretty much loaded up with the convenience, Package 2, Running Boards, Rack, Tow group, mats... stickered at $31,300... got it for $28,500...
I snapped a pic from my office window today...
I've driven it a full day and I'm thoroughly impressed at what a great vehicle this is. It fun, unpretentious, yet capable and easy to drive...
Anyway... just wanted to say thanks for hosting such a great community and hope to be a member for quite some time...
