Just agreed to terms on a new 2008 Titanium FJ with a lot of bells and whistles. I should have it in a few days (can hardly wait). I'm a professional Nature/Wildlife Photographer who has been running all over SW Florida in a BMW 540i (don't ask) until I figured out that it might be a heckuva lot easier if I didn't have to hike so far with all that gear! Anyway - tons of things I liked about the FJ over the other vehicles in class (believe me, I tested them all!). The thing is a friggin' tank! Should get me around nicely I think. I'm not new to the off-road scene by any means. Moved here from Colorado a few years ago, where off-roading was a hobby of mine. I was always out there bouncing off the rocks somewhere. Now it's just mud, beaches, and mosquitos for me! Anyway, here's the config I have coming from Toyota:
