Newbie...Confessions of a BC "Sharer" in AZ

Hi there,

I am user ZenPunk's "nicer" half. He owns our FJ .....although he claims he bought it for me to drive. (I train my dog for search and rescue in the desert.)

I have a tale to tell on Zen and then to add a few confessions of my own.

Tale #1. (BO) Before ownership, he said he liked the look of the FJs.....but I was the one who ranted and raved about the quirky little beasts all the time.

The day we took our first test drive, I had to DRAG HIM THERE KICKING AND SCREAMING.....He insisted he didn't want to go look at "my" stupid FJ. Yes, we even had a bit of a "spat" over it.

I got him there .....and thought I was so smart by letting HIM test drive it. He fell in LOVE at first drive. (Although we were looking for a manual and they only had autos on the lot.)

Well....we now own a beautiful Black Cherry .....but he is ALSO now ADDICTED to the FJ forums. I call it his "FJ Porn".

Confession #1. He wears the pants .....(in the tube door thread it was suggested that I wear the pants) ......unfortunately......NOT TRUE.

So......ZenPunk is currently out of the country.....and this leads to Confession #2

Today....... I WAS HIT while driving HIS BABY ...... A teenager came flying through the parking lot and ran into my side as I came in the entrance of the parking lot....he even left skid marks. It appears that she rammed into the tire, and I can't find a SCRATCH on anyehere on the FJ.

It was like there bubble around the FJ !!!!!!! (Still need to take it in and have the alignment people take a gander. The tire people said it all looks good, but he didn't look very thoroughly.)

Needless to say.....before I got out the inspect the damage.....I had visons of being BURIED in the DESERT ALIVE .

Good thing my dog is also trained to search for "cadaver".....except Zen always promises......he will bury me too deep for the dog to ever find me.

Anyway. Thanks for all the "FJ Porno". We both love many, many, many mods and a supercharger is certainly on that list....own the Cold Air Intake and love the extra HP....ohhhh....and love those killer tube doors........and the......and the ........and the......"FJ Porn" for sure!

Anyway....if you see ZenPunk on the forums in the next few days, take it easy on it him. I did "almost" get a scratch on his baby and I am sure you other addicts can feel his pain.

Cheers!

lol I like that, FJ porn. my family says that Im an FJ addict and I need a fix about 3 times a day. Our internet went down for 2 days while I was off, so I went to the library just to go on the forum and ebay in search of new ideas. when I got home my family asked where I was, I said I went to the library... my mother just looked at me and said "you f*$%in addict... seek professional help."

LOL.

I should design something (like a T Shirt) around the "FJ PORN ADDICT" concept to sell all the addicts.

Heck......if it would bring in a few dineros for some new mods........

Anything for the mod piggy bank!

Well almost anything.........LOL..........

Re: Newbie...Confessions of a BC "Sharer" in AZ

I have to say, that was the greatest phone call ever.

"This isn't as bad as it sounds." Somehow I already knew, it was about my "baby" as she likes to call it.

Just glad she wasn't hurt, I can always get the FJ fixed, harder to replace her.

Eww, that was way too mushy for me.
