..and to all you other warm FJ welcomers...Dr. Dirt, Frankv64, chief_Rucka, FJ-Hi, FJCcrawler, Archy Chris, Jenward74...thank you so much for your encouragement. I was so apprehensive when I ventured into getting the FJ (it being an import vehicle with its servicing issues here) but now, with the forum, I feel I really made the right decision in getting the FJ. Cheers!
Thanks Tubig. Wow, haven't been back since 1994? That's a long time to not be visiting. A lot has changed since then. You'd be pleasantly surprised. My only lament is that you folks in the U.S. have access to all the parts and accessories to pamper your FJs with while we here have to worry where to simply get our next oil caps.

Yeah its been a long time, I was born and raised here in the US though.
It may be hard to get an oil cap, but I would love to have a diesel Land Cruiser and ditch the FJ Cruiser.

Every two years, my family go back the Philipines to visit my aging parents. They are in Batasan Hills, Q.C.
Have you driven your FJ up to the Mountain province- Baquio City and experienced the rig's climbing ability? We always go there when in P.I. and I'm driving my brother's Mitsubishi Delica, 2.4L TurboDiesel-4WD. Very capable van but not as good as my FJ Cruiser.
Maybe you can find good off-road adventures around Taal Lake in Batangas.

Thanks, Ben. I certainly will holler when I encounter problems with my FJ but hopefully, that won't be often and even necessary.
