Born and raised in South Charleston living in the ATL....there are a ton of used rigs already modded, that's the least expensive way to go. The majority of those 'mall modded cruisers' have very little abuse as they've not been off road much. I've seen some nice one's on EBAY and there are other sources around...even on this forum. 50+ days till football season starts!!!!!!!!!!!
[quote=Hanuman110;1440264]I live about 30 miles southeast of Charleston and drive behind coal trucks almost daily. I'm on my third windshield in my Ranger in about 7 years. Every vehicle I've ever owned has had to have replacement windshields because of coal and gravel trucks. I've never heard of Clearplex but it just jumped to the top of the list. Thanks for the advice.[/QUOTEI had not heard of Clearplex either until about 5 months ago. I was reading a windshield thread here on the forum and one of our members posted a comment about the effectiveness of Clearplex. I googled for Clearplex dealers and came up with the location that I referred to in my original post.Good luck finding a suitable FJ. They are wonderful vehicles. I have about 2400' of inclined gravel road(washed out, and muddy most of the spring) that I have to navigate,so the FJ comes in handy.
