Hi all! I've been a lurker on here for awhile now trying to learn as much as I could about the FJ. I still have a ways to go sorting thru all the information on here but I think I have a good feel for the vehicle now. I've had my eyes on the FJ since it's release but had already purchased an H3 which has been a great vehicle. I have no regrets and in fact likely would have purchased an H3T but GM really screwed up Hummer and I had less than optimal encounters with several dealers trying to purchase an H3T. Because of the uncertainty of Hummer's future existence I started thinking about an FJ again which led me back here. Well, I finally took the plunge into the Kingdom of FJs and placed a deposit today on a new 2010 4WD Iceberg White FJ. Options included convenience package, upgrade package #2, roof rack, tow hitch, carpeted mats, Nano tinting (whatever this is), blu-logic hands free phone, V.I.P. Security system, and daytime running lights. Only mod planned so far is taking off the stock tires and putting on Goodyear Wrangler Dura Tracs. I anticipate having the vehicle no later than early next week. It is at the port right now. I'll be sure to post pics once I take delivery.
Congratulations on you new FJ from a fellow Floridian! I have had mine since March 31st, 2006 and I love it today more than ever!
I am currently looking at a new 2010 FJ, but I want to see the new Army Green color in person before I decide on another Sun Fusion or not!

Welcome to the FJ family. I am an FJ owner in Naples and an Ironman as well. Are you doing Florida next weekend? I'll be there camping at the campground across the street from the finish with my expedition trailer.
Thanks for the welcome Ryan as well as from the others!
I did IMFL 2005, was hit by a car training in 2006 and couldn't walk for 3 months after multiple trauma & major hip/acetabular surgery, learned how to walk again and returned to IMFL 2008 after extensive rehab. Was signed up again for this year but withdrew in July when I came to the realization that I just wasn't ready for the rigors of hot Florida summer training this year. I took the spring off from the tri scene to repay lost time spent with the family and I just couldn't get my training in sync for this year. I may sign up for next year again. It may be hard online though. We were planning to go and spectate a good buddy of mine but just as life gets in the way, so does work so it looks like we won't get the chance to go. We went and spectated in 2006 shortly after I learned how to walk again and we really enjoyed spectating the event. Are you doing IMFL next year? Enjoy watching this year. I am jealous
