279 Trail Closures Proposed In The Sequoia National Forest!

I realize the meeting has already passed but I wanted to make sure people knew about this growing issue.

279 Trails "proposed" to be closed...
Stewards of the Sequoia ()

Where to send letter or email.....
Stewards of the Sequoia ()

The scoop with maps etc....
Stewards of the Sequoia ()

You would think that other groups (e.g. hunters) would be protesting these closures as well...

Re: 279 Trail Closures Proposed In The Sequoia National Forest!

Are they just closing the trails and roads accessible by vehicles?

Thanks MissFJ, Now for the bigget question, I just saw what you had posted and it says respond by 16 July. Would it help to send in the letter today even though it is late.
I hate to see trails closed, even proposed closures.

Any road or trail is being evaluated for use by internal combustion vehicles

It may be too late for that county But not the others! Eldorado has until 7/31. Then again, it never hurts to tell your elected officials that the economy will suffer if the 4x4 industry in California is left to die.
