OK, I'll bite.

Would be great to see a new designation like this, but I don't see it happening anytime in the near or distant future. Wish I were wrong, but this is my opinion from my knot hole.

More importantly than OHV users signing a petition in my opinion, is waking up the millions of OHV recreationists that do not see a problem and refuse to write letters for individual Forest Plans and Travel Plans to keep their riding areas open. If we could get some action out of these folks, we might have a chance.

But I guess if signing a petition is the best we OHV users can do, then sign away. It is better than nothing.

I agree. I do that as well.....but there's no reason not to do EVERYTHING we can. Especially when this takes all of a minute of our time.
