I am leaning toward these kind of "waffle boards".
The waffle board are superior. At 3X the price, I don't know... I haven't bought either because I've been hoping somebody would be able to cut a great group buy on waffle boards or I'd see the price budge, which it hasn't.

Re: Sand Ladder Group Buy (Feeler)

My PSP ladders arrived Friday, unfortunately it was after I left for the Mojave Road so I didn't get a chance to test them out.

I have given then a once over today and I'm pretty impressed. Although they are heavy (close to 60 lbs for the pair) they are sturdy and the texture coat is evenly applied and looks like it would provide better traction than bare steel.

I'll pass along the contact info to the few of you that are interested.

Also, I'm working with Bush Ranger on a potential group buy for their X-Trax / Sand Track product.

More info will be posted as the details become known.

Re: Sand Ladder Group Buy (Feeler)

I forgot to add that the PSP sand ladders measure out at 15.5" across and 58.5" long.

Here's a shot of them standing...

And a close up of their surface...

Length is 1500mm (1.5 meters) and the width is 300mm.

The company has this to say...
"Rubber Traction for recovery from Sand, Mud, Dirt and Snow.
Measuring 1500mm Long x 300mm Wide
Rubber Cross Beams designed and moulded to create a positive grip on both tyres and terrian.
Built with High Quality Stainless Steel Cable for long life and durability.
Supplied in handy velcro fastened wrap bag for easy storage when not in use."

That would be more in keeping with my needs and I like the way they roll up for storage.
