Maintenance TechThis forum is for discussion of all aspects of maintenance that should be performed on the FJ Cruiser to keep it operating at maximum efficiency.
I finally got around to changing the plugs on my fj cruiser and so I did a write up and video. I hope it helps someone who is thinking about doing their own work and a little hesitant. This really is an easy maintenance activity.

MODs:
Just move the air filter tube, no need to take out the whole center part. you can easly get to the 3 plugs and coils on the passanger side.
for the driver side, no need to take off that bracket. I have big hands, so I pop off the hose in the back, goign from the intake to valve cover, and the 10 holding the bracket and pruge valve in.
@Toyota_Tech you are right you can remove less and change them out... but the Toyota Manual sets it out this way and we needed the room for filming. We also like to show all the steps and then let folks tweak their own approach after they are comfortable with process.

@Toyota_Tech thx and really appreciate the feedback and input... over the years our videos have improved (i think at least) because of the discussions about them, the topics and feed back from this forum.
