Re: Trouble Code P1604

I have seen this answer when i googled it. It is too generic and makes no sense to me.

Quick search in FJ Service Manual returned nothing. I guess it tells me I need reset Maintenance Light

Re: Trouble Code P1604

P1604 sets when your engine takes too long to start. It usually doesn't set all by itself but with other codes. I guess if you had some bad gas or flooded your engine it would set. Do you have other codes besides this one?

Re: Trouble Code P1604

No, only one. I remember few days ago during my out of state trip to unusual cold weather I had to turn the key 2 times to start engine. It was my mistake, rather than truck did something wrong.
No MIL, just one code and Maintenance Light.
