Question 15,000 mile checkup question...

I don't want to get this done at the dealership. They want over $340 including labor...

What does everyone else do? I am just curios as to who does it on their own, through their own mechanic, or at the dealership...

Is it true that the warranty can be voided if not done at Toyota?
Or is this BS?

Thanks, and enjoy life

Matt

I do my own services but if you can't take to a private garage and document all services for warranty.

Do it myself. Easy if you have even modest mechanical skills.

No.

It's BS, thanks to the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act.

I did my own, it was done right, better than the dealer would have, I had fun and had no negative impact on my warranty.

Re: 15,000 mile checkup question...

I do my own maintenance. I just document it in the service schedule that came in my glove box w/ owners manual etc.

I keep reciepts in a file to include the purchase of oil and filters
