Battery light flashing?

Hey guys just got an fj 3 days ago, and after driving it for a while i think the battery light came on real fast (flashed) then disapeared. Is that even possible? or if there was something wrong would it just stay on?
Anyway if there is something wrong does anyone know what it would be?
Thanks

Re: Battery light flashing?

Is your voltmeter needle sitting above horizontal on the gauge (about 2:30)?

I've not seen mine come on at all in almost 18k miles. It's not normal. If it happens again, I would go back to the dealer.

Re: Battery light flashing?

Definitely not normal.

Could be a fluke, but like DEWFPO says, if it happens again -- take it in.
