clutch chirps

hey i dont know a better way to describe it, but when my clutch isnt depressed, it chirps.

2007 FJ...any ideas or fixes?

Mine did the same thing, they replaced the throw out bearing and it quit for a while but it is back now.

hmm...is this common?...im about to drive to alaska and park it for a few months while working on a fishing boat...i dont wanna hear it at every stop.

wow toyota has this problem too. This is exactly why i got rid of my 07 rubicon now i have a auto. Jeep also replaced the throwout bearing but it kept coming back.

All pro engine skid with tranny skid. All pro lower link skids. All pro t-case skid, all pro shock mount skids.
Total chaos skids.
Rain guards.
3 inch OME lift

MY BUILD IS DONE.

Yes. It's a common problem. My throwout bearing has been replaced twice. So far second time is a charm. The chirp has not returned.

Throwout beating. Savannah Toyota is ordering the parts right now for me. They said they've seen it in other models before and with their experience in those they're replacing EVERYTHING. Brand new clutch for free! Woo hoo! 26k miles.

I have a thread on this somewhere... LOL...

I had the same thing, dealer replaced the TO
bearing, something like two weeks later, it was
back, then the replaced everything, TO bearing,
clutch, pressure plate, shift fork, etc., and it's
been quiet ever since !...
