Hello Steve-o,

I just installed your sliders and underarmor for the FJ. I found that they are for the intended purpose, very durable and well protected, with a nice coat of Toyota quality powder that should last as long as the FJ.

As for fitment. The sliders fit close, but not too close. And they have a feature which I found on the FJ armor that ran the Rubicon, flat plate on the bottoms to fill gaps. These have that design built in. They are also perfectly bonded. I did find them a little difficult to align at the point where the breakline attaches. Removing the bracket that holds the breakline, or bending it, would be necessary with any FJ installation. The sliders were heavy, which required two men and a lift to install in a timely manner.
The install time was about 1 hour.

There were no grade eight bolts to attach the sliders, so I had to purchase them. Considering the cost of these sliders, it would be of great value to your customers to include these bolts with them.
The slider is heavy duty, and could take anything you threw at them and beg for more.

The under-armor.
The same quality standards that applied to the sliders, also holds true for the under-armor. The silver powder coat was a good color match for lifting the look of the underside without making a visual overstatment.
Fitment was as close as possable to the underside of the FJ. The cross-member was precise and did require removing the fuel line bracket and also removal and reattachment of the exaust mount.
One minor issue I have is with the hex wrench, round head bolts used to attach the armor. They were SAE, and not Metric. All other attaching hardware was prefect, and the packaging, exceptional. After installation, I gave serious thought to what was ment by (top secret stuff). I'd like to see or read about it. I detect an array of possable products.
