Anyone runnin' their HD Rear Lower Links w/Bushings??

Looking at getting a pair and just wondering how they are holding up..For the price I don't think you can beat them...I'm not looking for more art. out of the links, just a stronger link that won't bend/break as easily on trails and when crawling...

I saw the Allpro's and was considerin' them, but for the price and what I wanted in stronger Rear HD Links, you can't beat the MAF price...I ordered a set of their's w/Bushings and they'll be here sometime next week...Can't wait to get them...Project "Trail Maker" is almost finished!!

Bandi,
How do you like the Allpro's rear links??

I've had the allpro's for awhile, only downside to them so far is they make a clunk sound when the heim shifts and the outer portion hits the mounts, but otherwise they have been great.. If you get ones with the rubber you shouldn't get any shifting noises.

So Bandi,

Why the switch from the All Pro to Man a Fre? I am looking at getting a set. And I am not sure who to go with.

I just got my set off All pros today. They are very beefy. I could not believe how nice they are and they are heavy duty.
Can't wait to install them.

Did I write that somewhere ???...Hmm... I did not switch, I Still have the AP's... The man-a-free
setup (see below) uses a urethane bushing, which while stronger, impedes the axle flex more
than stock due to the urethane being stiffer... I want FLEX, so no man-a-free for me...

You can order the Man-a-fre's without the bushings as well. But thanks Bandi, I did not think of the flex thing. Guess I'll stick with the stock bushings when I pick up the Man-a-fre's!

Re: Anyone runnin' there HD Rear Lower Links w/Bushings??

There is a new kid coming to town before to long from the rumor I heard.
Created in WA. state, these tubes will angle in and up, to keep them thar rocks at bay.

That is all I can say, as I do not know when he is releasing them, but that is what I will more than likely end up with.

Dontcha just love rumors, kind of like when we first heard the FJ was gonna be built

I have this set sitting in my spare bedroom waiting to go on (been there for 2 wks. now)...This set-up allows for more flex than stock arms and bushings..The new bushings from MAF are split down the middle and not one solid piece...For the FJ being my DD and living in Florida with mud I needed new rear links that were durable, had no-less flex than stock, and weren't high in maintainence, and also affordable....That's why I went with MAF...Almost bought the all-pro, but don't have the time to mess with the johnny joints...The MAF rear lower links are way heavier than stock...I'll have them installed this week and testing them this coming weekend....Too much to do and never any time..
