I dont think they had only the can carrier in mind. I am not sure if they will fit with the tire in the stock location. I did develope a great way to hold extra fuel though---->Extra Fuel!

I will check into them rotating the can carrier, but so far all of Kaymar's carriers sit one way. Even if it is rototed I am not sure if it will fit, plus the license plate holder would look funny.
It seems unlikely that Kaymar will change the jerry can carrier design considering that Kaymar has been able to offer left and right tire carrier and left and right jerry can carrier that can be use in any combination for the FJ60, FJ80, and FJ100 already. I think by the time both carriers are chosen, the price will be in the $2,000 range (example: FJ80 expedition kit, p/n KA 80KIT, $1986).

Re: Kaymar Rear Swingout Tire & Fuel Carrier Bumper

Any chance for a little extra you can design in house and weld on some metal to both sides that will replace the plastic pieces that we have to trim?

I have been waiting a while for this one, and am really liking the looks of it. It's 99% of what I want other than the plastic pieces still being there. It's gonna suck to have to find replacement bumpers at scrap yards to get new pieces should be tear ours up.

But, I'll still be ordering one from you when I can, even if I need to do the add on pieces myself. Bad ass. Hopefully its not going to be bumper #2 in the $2k+ range.

Maybe if you plead Wild West they can come up with an addition to this Kaymar bumper like they did for the 80 series landcruiser Kaymar bumper...

Nice! Can it fit two tire carriers, like the 100 series can? What will the tow rating be?

What about rear licence plate, its a law most places you rear plate must be lit. The other bumper I seen from a vendor here, with the swing out (I forget the name) has a mount for the plate but no light= ticket. Will this have a lighted plate mount?

By the pic, there looks to be a license plate light.
I know the other bumper with the swing out can holder that was floating around had a light for the plate as well, though it was a half assed, unthought out way of doing it that looked like a 5 year old came up with it.

Yeah, the Kaymar can carrier comes with a license plate bracket and light. It also has built in tail and turn signal LED's.

Steve can we get some better close ups of the hinge system and locking system. It's hard to tell, but it looks like there is a lip that's on the inside on the bummper too thats behind the arm?...I would like to see some close ups and maybe an update when it will be ready here in the US, thanks
