A MAF-tastic ride ready for Pomona

Much finishing of jobs, crafting, cleaning, and presentation work (all without me - business trip - honest ) and the MAF-tastic ride is ready to roll to the east side...

Yeah, tank is off for this trip and the staz/pitbull wheel/tire combo didn't make it either...

MIR207 - That is NOT your rig!

It's an IMPOSTER!

Where is the body damage? Where are the pinstripes? There is no indication that the truck in the photos has been ridden hard (and put away muddy).

When I get to the show and go up to the Man-A-Fre people I'll accuse them (formally) of duplicating your rig. Are you sure your FJ is not locked in a warehouse somewhere with tape across its horn and a tarp across the windshield? Perhaps a hostage.

I've seen the MAN IN THE IRON MASK and I think that twins-separated at birth scenario is being played out here. It's eeeeerie!

Uphill, look carefully at the pics and you can see the artistic lines running lengthwise down the body. A masterful piece. It really is MIR's rig.

But it's not dirty, there are no dents, no bug splatters on the windshield.

Yes, I saw the clever simulation of simulated desert pinstripes - I am not convinced that it is not an evil twin. I'll be there in person and will pull back the curtain and expose the wizard as a fraud TOMORROW.

Trust me, its Mark's rig!

The windshield is still cracked, tail lamp gaurd broken, pinstripes still glistening in the sun, dents acounted for, heat coming from the center console, squeeky creaks from the suspension, etc.

<---This smiley sort of looks like Mark actually. Hmmmm

Very clever, Mr. Uphill, very clever. You see my plan was to take the guise of mir and infiltrate the Pomona show and spread fear through the world unless I was paid the sum of one MILLION yen. You may have uncovered my little secret this time Mr. Uphill, but I'll be back! Oh, yes. I'LL BE BACK!
