Man-A-Fre my new heroes!

Long story made short -

I bought an ARB rack through Man-A-Fre and it was delivered damaged by the freight company.

Unfortunately, I was not home when it was delivered, but my wife was. The driver convinced my wife that it was packaged up real good and there wasn't any real need to unwrap it at that time.

Well, it turns out the rack had been damaged in transit and the freight company had re-wrapped it. (I believe this was intentional to conceal the damage)

Well because of the pre-paid freight and all, the battle is squarely in the hands of Man-A-Fre to duke it out with the freight co.

Even though it is still being dealt with, and has not been ultimately resolved, Steve (a good guy) has informed me a replacement rack is on the way!

This makes them another vendor that we should support in the FJ community.

Thanks again, Steve!

Although Steve-O probably needs a haircut since the last time I saw him, I agree that Man-a-fre is customer oriented. I believe this not only because I got to work with Steve personally.

It is refreshing to see people put the good stuff into the fold.

Re: Man-A-Fre my new heroes!

Man-A-Fre has a solid reputation that goes back a long way. They value their customers (us) and it shows in the way they do business.

There are others in the business to whom that "policy" is lip service only - not Man-A-Fre. They earn their reputation every day through their actions and their conduct.

Yeah! I love not being slammed on forums. Good stuff.

Although I do need a haircut...
