Kaymar Rear Bumper with swingouts

I know there is already a thread with this title, but I wanted to post some photo's of a prototype that Man A Fre installed on my rig without them getting buried in one of the 100 pages of the other thread....

Currently they are still working a bit on the fabrication, The bumper is GREAT, but it lacks about 1 inch of edging on each side, that is the reason it isnt done yet Hopefully what they learned from installing it on my rig will let them finish the fabrication, so that it will be released soon. Without Further ado, A Bunch of Pics.

With the Swingouts closed, 33" Nitto Terra Grappler on the back, Holds the weight just fine.

With The swingouts open, it allows full access to the rear door

Side View of swingouts open

Tire swingout

Jerry Can Swingout

Clasp in open position

Clasp in closed position

Swingout Locked in out position, this shows the locking mechanism, it is a surprisingly strong locking device

Door fully open, extends all the way

Side Image swingouts closed

Another pic of tire swingout open

From the front with swingouts closed

From what I was told when I was at Man A Fre, they have finished the prototypes of the gas tank, just need to get a good lead on fabrication, The guy they go through recently came down with some serious illness (not sure what?) and has not been able to start pumping them out yet, but I am in for one too!

Re: Kaymar Rear Bumper with swingouts

your kaymar bumper is probably the best fj rear bumper option out there i think, and the rest of your rig is amazing as well, keep up the good work!

Re: Kaymar Rear Bumper with swingouts

Awesome FJ! I was the guy (Voodoo Blue, w/BFG MT KM2s) also getting the OME lift done the exact same day you dropped off at Man-a-Fre. The truck looks great, what a difference! Let me know when when you want to get that FJ dirty, we can hit up some trails near LA. See ya on the 405.
