Plenty of room to mount lights (but why??).
Making repairs underneath at night. Spotting a crawl at night. Coolness factor

I was following CruiserLarry on a run once and he had them on. He explained the benefits. OK....no more hijack.

Great AUX tank!

Re: FJ Cruiser Auxiliary Fuel Tank --> INSTALLED

Larry - Thanks! Glad that you finally got the MAF tank out of the closet! Looking forward to my trip to LA in a few weeks.

Jeezo, Cactus- you are demanding.

There is about 6" behind the tank, more than that - maybe 9 inches on the right side of the tank, and a little less on the left. Plenty of room to mount lights (but why??).

Keep in mind that I have no mud flaps and the FabFours rear bumper so your set up could be slightly different depending on your after-market options.

IMO, lights that low will get beat up bad by rocks/mud. I suggest that you install high floods. I'm not saying "copy me" but this solution (below) works.

I saw your rig when I was there yesterday and expected to see the larger tank under it -- will you have the new tank in for the meet/greet on Saturday?
